Christ Is The Only Way To Salvation!

   Depravity of Man

The corruption of man is the sinfulness of his nature that contradicts all that is God.

  (Lev. 19:2; Deut. 32:4).  Universally, man from birth is corrupted with sin. (Psalm 58:3;

Job 25:4)  Sin originated in heaven with Satan and his angels and on earth with Adam and Eve.

Satan a fallen angel, high rank cherub became wicked with pride desiring to be a god.

(Isaiah. 12-14).  There were also other fallen angels who followed him in wickedness and

abandoned their positions of authority and were cast down to the earth. (Jude 1:6; John 8:44)

Man became wicked through the fall of Adam and Eve by believing the lie, Satan himself.

(Gen. 3).  Their disobedience against God's commandment of not eating from the tree of the

knowledge of good and evil imputed sin to all mankind. (Rom. 5:12)  All are under sin, there

is none who is righteous.  No one had done good and no one seeketh after God. (Rom. 3:9-11)

All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.  We have been redeemed by the blood

of the lamb for the remission of our sins.  We have be declare righteousness and freely

justified by the gift of grace. (Rom. 3:22-25) Whoever believe in his only begotten Son

shall have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

 The Blood Sacrifice

Why Christ is the Only Way To God?   We needed atonement for our sins to be put back

in a right relationship with God. It all started from the beginning from the fall of Adam. (Gen. 3)

We were born into this world with sin and through Adam was death. (I Cor. 15:22) God sent his

Son who came down in flesh and blood to substitute man’s sin penalty by his blood sacrifice on

 the cross. (John 1:14)

Jesus blood sacrifice is vital to the atonement of our sins.  Only Christ could stand in the

place of myself and any one else who is called into the body of Christ.  No other blood is worthy

or sacrificial to God but Jesus his Son. (Hebrews 9:26) This decision was man from the triune

Godhead from the beginning before the foundation of the world. (Ephes. 1:4)  The humanity of

Christ came in our place and as our substitute. We needed our sins to be cover over, and only

Jesus was worthy as the sacrificial Lamb.

When we begin to understand as Christians how lost we are and that it was only God’s

grace that open our eyes.  Not deserving or merited but simply he has chosen us as his children

sealed by adoption through Jesus Christ his son.  We have to realize that we cannot earn or win

anything from God through our own efforts.  We must either receive it as a gift or do without it.

The greatest spiritual blessing we receive is when we come to the knowledge that we are totally

lost without him.   It means, “God be propitiated to me the sinner.” (Luke 18:13)

   Reconciliation To God

Through the death and resurrection power of Jesus, we are reconciled to God with him.

We become God’s friend again and we are no longer enemies with him.  (Rom. 5:10)  Just like

Abraham who believed in God and was imputed righteousness and he was called a Friend of

God.  (James 2:23)  Our life is saved and we take on a ministry of reconciliation.  Our faith in

Jesus brings reconciliation in our lives and changes our position with God. (2Cor.  5:18) We are

presented to God holy, unblameable, unreprovable by the death of Jesus.

As sinful mankind, we could not take on the task on imputing our own sins  though many

have tried to exhibit great works in their Christian lives. Some believe through their false

doctrines, false beliefs  or traditions whether denominational or non-denominational gives them

a right to the tree of life; while others believe you can cleanse sin through infant baptism.

Mankind cannot achieve what Christ did for us on the Cross.  First of all, the decision was

made by the Godhead before the world was created. (John 1: 1-4)  Secondly, he just wanted

to lay down his life for us. (I John 3:16) Thirdly, his substitution was the only human blood

sacrifice payment acceptable because he knew no sin. (II Cor. 5:19)  He was sinless without

  spot and blemish.

Jesus is our High Priest.  In Christ there is no sin, no weaknesses, no defilement and he

is consecrated forever. (Hebrews 7:26-28)  His atonement gives us direct access to the Father

because there is no enmity between us.  His blood sacrifice is everlasting.  We can come boldly

before God and obtain grace and mercy in our daily lives.  (Hebrews 4:14-16)  Jesus is our

mediator to the father.  He is the lawyer in the courtroom and by his blood he settled every lost

  soul. (I Tim. 2:5-6)

  Free From Sin

Our salvation was bought with a price.  What kind of love is this that Jesus would lay down

his life for  an unredeemed world? True Love.  His redemptive work paid it all  for those call by

God. (2 Peter. 2:1) As believers, we have asked these  type of questions over and over, not

realizing we are too often ungrateful to God. This unconditional love was a free gift from God.

(Rom. 5:15; Ephes. 2:8)  We are saved through grace and was separated before we enter our

mother’s womb. (Gal.1:15)  His grace was His only begotten Son blood sacrifice on the Cross.

Because we have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, we are free.  We are free from

the shackles of sin, death and hell.  Every chain of bondage has been broken and we are justified

freely in the presence of the almighty God.  We must not take our freedom likely as believers.

Sin must not continue to abide in us, for we are an underserved or unmerited cause. (Rom. 6:1-2)

Through freedom in Christ, it should release us to want to served the very one who bailed us out

of the imprisonment of wrath.  (I Cor. 7:23) We are set free from the curse of the mosaic law and

redeemed into the law of Christ. (Gal. 3:13; 4:5)

We are no longer guilty.  We have been bought with a price and we should glorify God in

all that we do.  (I Cor. 6:20)  We were loss cause without him and now Jesus blood was our

ransom for freedom.  His ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension for a ransom of many.

(Mark 10:45)  Jesus blood sacrifice was the appeasing offer for our remission of sins and

through his offer was declare righteousness to those who believe in him.  (Rom. 3:25)

  Gift of Righteousness

Christ is clearly depicted throughout all scriptures that he is the only way to God.  Sin was

imputed to all mankind by Adam (I Cor. 15:22) and righteousness was imputed to those called by

God.  (Rom. 4:22-24)  His blood sacrifice was the atonement of our transgressions. (Rom. 5:11)

Because God  loved us first, he sent  his Son to be the propitiation of our sins. (I John 4:10)  His

grace was a gift freely given.  It is a gift of righteousness.  (Rom. 5:17) Through this gift there is

therefore no more condemnation but life everlasting.  (Rom. 5:11-21)
